The Premier League season got underway across England as three wins and three draws were recorded on the opening day fixtures.
Earlier in the day, Hull City got a deserved 2-1 victory over defending Champions, Leicester City at the Molineux with goals from Adama Diomande and Robert Snodgras for the Tigers while Riyad Mahrez scored from a spot-kick. It ended 2-1 to Hull.
It was a goal a-piece a point a-piece between Tottenham and Everton at Goodison Park. Ross Barkley’s free-kick put the Toffees up but Erik Lamela’s glancing header canceled out Spurs deficit. It ended 1-1.
